Honey Do Service, Inc. is actively seeking to add an experienced Sales Estimator to our team in the Fort Walton Beach, FL area. Our ideal candidate will be organized and professional with an excellent overall knowledge of all trades from carpentry, painting, and drywall to light plumbing and electrical. We want someone with proven customer service skills, and has solid communication and interpersonal abilities. It is crucial that interactions with customers and co-workers be positive, trustworthy and professional.

This position will be to prepare cost estimates utilizing our proprietary software that address every part of a customer's project taking into consideration all relevant factors in the plan such as: types and amounts of materials, labor, and equipment. Our Sales Estimators must communicate clearly and effectively with customers up until the time a job is booked. They also maintain all necessary sales and marketing products, monitoring vendor pricing changes, and following up on quotes given.

Benefits, Pay Scale and Schedule

This is a full-time hourly position. The pay is based on experience. We offer full benefits including Medical, Vision, Dental, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, and 401K. We also perform regular pay reviews, with your first one at 90 days. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 - 4:30, steady work all year round. You will receive a company vehicle for use on the job.

  • 5 years of experience estimating in the home improvement / remodeling industry
  • Strong math, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with local and state building codes
  • Knowledge of how to read and comprehend blueprints
  • Knowledge of the multiple areas of home improvement: carpentry, painting, drywall, light plumbing and electrical, etc.
  • Strong people skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Smartphone and/or consistent access to the Internet
